Candles, logs (to hold the candles), flags, Brownie pond and a ceremonial bridge are available to borrow from
the Service Center. There is a $1.00 replacement fee for the candles and a $5.00 usage fee
for the Brownie ponds. In addition, a $20.00 deposit is required on the logs, pond, bridge and per flag.
To reserve any of these items for your troop's special occasion, request a reservation online or call the Service Center.
Because of high demand, these resources may only be borrowed for a 3-day period.
In addition to the ceremony scripts below, there are several excellent resources on ceremonies
available on GSUSA's Girl Scout Central site:
Ceremonies,
Flag Ceremonies,
and Bridging Ceremonies.
We recommend a visit to these pages for more ideas! You might also try a web search on
