Hiking/Walking: HealthHike, Somerset Medical Center, 110 Rehill Ave., (908) 685-2814. Promotes better health by walking and educational information. Walking through Bridgewater Commons daily. Monthly meetings, October through June at Bridgewater Commons, offer health-related presentations as well as incentive awards for miles walked. Somerset County Hikers, Somerset County Park Commission, P.O. Box 5327, North Branch, (908) 832-6976 or (908) 722-1200. Promotes the enjoyment of hiking in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The group meets most weekends throughout the year, for hikes averaging 8-10 miles. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. For a schedule of hikes, or for more information, call Somerset County Park Commission at (908) 722-1200 ext. 225. Union County Hiking Club, (908) 527-4900.
