Water Sports: Garden State Canoe Club, 91 Central Avenue, Stirling, (908) 647-2058. To encourage participation and improve proficiency and promote canoeing. There are day trips, weekend trips, weekday trips throughout the region. Meets second Tuesday at Long Hill Township Library. Tri-County Boating Club, (732) 985-3693. Trailer boats to many bodies of water and promotes water and boating safety. Twice per month "cruises" during the season from April to October, including many overnight destinations. Picnics are held in July and October, banquet in November. Warrenbrook Pool, Warren Township, (908) 754-8404. An outdoor swimming facility offering patrons a choice of seasonal passes or daily admissions. Swim instruction is offered from toddler level classes through diving instruction.
