Rolling Hills Trip Guidelines

  • Fill out a permission slip and send it home to the parents. Make it mandatory that you have the slip by the day of the trip.
  • Determine who will be the emergency contact- the parent must be available during the time of the trip to receive your call and make outbound calls as needed.
  • Notify your consultant and provide her with a copy of the permission slip, so she knows where and when you are going, and the name of the emergency contact person.
  • Give your emergency contact list to the "emergency contact parent."
  • Make sure you have the same list with you.
  • Make sure you keep a copy of the "Handling a Major Emergency" information sheet with you.
  • Keep the signed permission slips on file for several years.
  • If you are going to a facility or are participating in a program you should have the company or facility fax a certificate of insurance to the Rolling Hills Girl Scout Council (908)725-4933 attn: TRIPS. This only needs to be done once. We will keep it on file at the council for future trips.
