Beef Foil Packets

My Kids thought these were odd originally, but now love them. Over time we have perfected it to our tastes- you can put in anything you want! The water helps steam the potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground beef
  • 1 lb. frozen veggies
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 2 sliced potatoes
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (condensed)
  • water

Equipment needed

  • Foil
  • Spray oil like Pam
Cut off roughly 12" foil.
Spray foil with Pam.
Place ground beef in bits on foil.
Add veggies , onions, potatoes as desired.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Add one spoonful ( 1-2T) of soup directly from can.
Add 2 to 3 spoons of water right on top.

Seal all carefully and place above coals. Cook, turning every 5 minutes until done, about 15-20 minutes. Open carefully!

Makes 4-6 servings.
