Camp Lou Henry Hoover
Girl Scouts of Washington Rock Council invites girls entering grades 1-12 to Camp Lou Henry
Hoover in Middleville, New Jersey in Sussex County. Activities include swimming, boating,
cookouts, hiking, arts and crafts, and more. Some campers will share large platform tents while
others will be housed in contemporary buildings equipped with bathroom and kitchen facilities.

Camp Eagle Island
Girl Scout Council of Greater Essex and Hudson Counties offers an overnight camp experience for
girls entering grades 3-12 at Camp Eagle Island, located in the Adirondack Mountains in Saranac
Lake, New York. All Eagle Island campers participate in swimming, boating, crafts and archery,
as well as activities specific to their chosen program. Campers live in units of 15 - 25 girls,
in platform tents or cab-ins. Modern bathhouses and showers are centrally located. For more
