Pre-registration is required for ALL Trainings. Due to space limitations, walk-ins cannot be admitted. We will try to accommodate if your co-leader is suddenly able to attend with you, but please call in advance.
Registration forms for all courses can be obtained from your Service Unit Training Coordinator
or downloaded from our website.
You may register online for courses that do not require a fee.
All courses have a minimum/maximum and are open unless otherwise posted online. Updates are
made to the website daily.
Register early - most courses fill quickly. Registration closes 7 days before the course unless otherwise noted.
Registrations will be confirmed (via email if provided) within 3-5 days of receipt. If we have to delay, postpone, or cancel a course, you will be contacted by phone AND email where available. Please provide accurate contact information.
If a fee is required it must be mailed or brought in with the registration form. You are not registered until payment is received. Payment cannot be made at time of class.
If you require special assistance or accommodations please contact the Director of Volunteer Training by or by phone at (908) 725-1226 before you register.
If we do not meet our minimum course registration, the course will be cancelled. To avoid this, register early and bring your co-leader(s) (they need to register, too). Each leader/participant needs to register individually, especially for the Gold Award Workshop (girls must register themselves).
If you need to cancel please do so no less than three days before the course. Most courses have a waiting list of persons that we can notify to take your spot. When you cancel, it is your responsibility to reschedule for another class. If a fee is involved, you must let us know if you wish to transfer payment from the class you could not attend to the new class, or you will have to pay again. If rescheduling is not an option, refunds will be issued if applicable.
Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early so you can sign in. Arriving more than 15 minutes late or
leaving a course early may result in not receiving credit for that course.
Please remember your Council Trainers are volunteers like yourself who contribute their
time to prepare and conduct courses. Please make appropriate arrangements to attend the full
class. To keep things moving, please exclude distractions such as noisy food wrappers, cell
phones/beepers, and children.
