Great Adventures in History Day 6 - July 26, 2001 Little Red Schoolhouse, Branchburg, NJ Peddler's Village, Bucks County, PA |
The South Branch School (the Little Red Schoolhouse) was constructed in 1863. It is an excellent example of a well-preserved, one-room vernacular Victorian-Italianate schoolhouse. Peddler's Village is an 18th-century style attraction with specialty shops and restaurants, year round festivals and craft competitions, plus an antique operating carousel, on 42 acres of landscaped grounds and winding brick pathways. |
