Great Adventures in History Welcome poem read at the Opening Ceremony |
New Jersey is the Garden State We think that living here is great There are many places to have fun and explore From the Appalachians to the Jersey Shore George Washington slept in many of our towns He really seemed to make the rounds As he led his troops to defeat the British We're glad the Revolutionary War had such a finish. Our state bug is the Honey Bee The Red Oak is our official Tree Liberty and Prosperity is our motto But you have to be 17 to drive an auto. We hope you will enjoy your stay With fond memories of this trip one day. Welcome to our Wider Op I'm sure you'll agree that Girl Scouts are Tops!!
