2008 National Young Women of Distinction

10 Young Women of Distinction will be honored during a presentation at the Girl Scouts of the USA National Council Session in Indianapolis, Indiana (October 30 - November 2, 2008.)

Call for Applications

Any girl who has completed her Girl Scout Gold Award between October 1, 2006 and April 30, 2008 may apply.

Judges will evaluate each project based on:

• How the project reflects the passion a girl has for a cause and how she has used her leadership skills to take action.
• How the project has affected the world around her.
• How the project addresses the three Girl Scout keys to leadership: Discover, Connect, Take Action.
